Vocal exercises, warm-ups, accompaniments, and lesson excerpts are recorded via audio cassette tape or in MP3 format (for iPods, MP3 players, or computers) so that students have the tools that they need to practice at home, listen to themselves, and monitor their progress.
Upon request, Christine can also provide lessons on basic music theory (scales, key signatures, notation, etc.) and sight-reading techniques to enhance musicianship. She can also teach students about music history and various music genres to increase their music awareness and appreciation.
Lessons and repertoire are tailored to the specific needs of the student. Whether you are a beginner who just wants to sing for fun or a seasoned professional who needs help preparing for gigs, Christine is able to work with you to address your unique voice, talent, and interest level. Christine works with each student to set reasonable goals and appropriate repertoire.
